Text: Exodus 23:1-8

Sub-theme: Do not Deny the Justice before the People

Title: Witnessing the Truth

Here, we can see, that there is a forbidden in denying the justice, accepting the bribe because it blinds those who see and twist the words of the righteous, spreading the false reports and following of the wicked crowed in doing wrong. All of these deeds cant give satisfaction in the sight of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These things are evil works, perverting the truth, which is against the God's well that can persuade the innocent or the righteous one. It can diminish good ones especially those who are belonging in a low level of the society (poor).

The reading reminds us, avoiding these all so that we might not swayed into the right way of living and remains in the right path. God really want us to be sincere, spoken the right one that is really justified by His sight and in accordance of His well. All of us must be proclaim the truth that is truly happened and coincided by the facts of the evidence.

God really want us to be sincere in telling the truth and not a lie, abusing the rights of our fellow brother by pushing / planting them a faults / case that is not really true in order that their fellow brother will fall into down. God doesn't like it all because these are the deeds of the croocked and foolish people which is the deeds of the evil. Exposes the motives croocked of the fallen human heart. This happened because God is righteous, He is faithful.

As His people whom shall please, we have to be faithful. That's why if we confess before the people we have to spoke the right one without any hesitated but firm in truth and justice.

If were going to apply this passages / context in our real situation specially in the case of ZTE NBN Broadband Network that is really one of the top issues happening in our country today. Particularly, the star witness in this case ( Jun Lozada ). He must not hid the truth because the people are being thirsty that the truth must be prevailed. This what we need in our country today. Moreover, this particular person is on of the witness in this foolishness deed that is against the law. Here in this situation we can see that he serves himself as a light of the countrymen to all of those who are blinded on this case that they may know the truth and justice may realm.

He himself serves as a key to open the door and welcomes everyone by saying " come and see " then showed by them the things that is hidden. Same situation on us, the Evangelion, the one who bring the good news to the people of God proclaiming the good news to everyone. Confessing the truth to everybody, evangelizing the right one that is truly and pleaseful to the will of God unto His people. This thing must be prevailed to everybody, that the people of God know Him, know His message and learned it. As His people we must obey Him, forbidding in denying justice, bribery and testifying the faults testimony but rather faithful in truth.

Challenge to all of us that we must be witness of god's word, testifying and proclaiming the truth to our brethren with the strength and courageous enough without any hesitation in our hearts but firm in truth, letting be the justice prevailed through our testimony without accepting a bribe but truth must be prevailed.
